BIOGRAPHY
Elwart will race in the VL3 at Paris 2024 after retiring in 2021 and coming back in 2022 after her event was confirmed at the Paralympic Games. She studied Anthropology at the University of Arkansas. She has postgraduate certificates in prosthetics and orthotics and has worked as a paediatric prosthetist at a children's hospital in Shreveport, LA.

WHEN/WHERE DID YOU START CANOEING/ KAYAKING?
Began recreational kayaking and canoeing in 2011. First time in a Sprint kayak in 2014.
REASON FOR TAKING UP THE SPORT
Kayaking gives me the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while pushing my physical limits.
