The Brazilian Canoeing Confederation (CBCa) has announced its ongoing commitment to ethics, transparency, and integrity in the sport by providing a secure, independent, and accessible ombudsman channel.

This platform allows athletes, staff, officials, and the public, to report any conduct that violates the code of ethical conduct, the bylaws, the anti-corruption law, or other institutional regulations, in a safe and confidential manner.

Designed to ensure impartiality, confidentiality, and protection for whistleblowers, the ombudsman channel reinforces the confederation’s governance and transparency standards.

Beyond complaints, users can also submit suggestions, compliments, and other feedback, supporting the continuous improvement of CBCa’s institutional practices.

“By providing an independent and trustworthy channel, we ensure that every voice in our sport can be heard responsibly,” said CBCa compliance supervisor Carlos Pedrosa.

“Transparency and adherence to the rules are essential for the sustainable growth of canoeing in Brazil.”

This initiative promotes a culture of integrity and encourages active community engagement, contributing to a more ethical and transparent environment for Brazilian canoeing.

The CBCa invites everyone to participate and help shape a stronger, more responsible sporting community.
