LATE CALL-UP
He initially failed to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games but was later included in the team as a replacement for the injured Pawel Baraszkiewicz. "When I first found out I was going to the Olympics, I felt some pressure. I knew that it was Pawel Baraszkiewicz's nomination, not mine, and it made me really uncomfortable. It was all better after I had talked to the coach and my teammates." (sport.pl, 20 Jul 2012)
