The organizers of the 2021 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships, Denmark are looking forward to welcoming all fans, families and spectators to the Danish National Regatta Course Lake Bagsvaerd, Copenhagen, September 15-19, 2021.

COVID-19
Measures and guidelines related to Covid-19 are continuously updated according to the requirements and recommendations from the Danish authorities and the International Canoe Federation. We are taking all measures to ensure a safe spectator environment.
As of June 3, 2021, we expect that spectators need a "Corona passport" to get access to the stands. This means that you either have to be vaccinated or you need to show a current (within 72 hours) negative test. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from this rule.
A recent survey among potential tourists made by VisitDenmark shows that Denmark is rated second in Northern Europe when it comes to responsible measures regarding Covid-19.
ACCOMMODATION
Together with our partner, Travel Sense, we are offering hotel packages for fans and media.
All hotels are located in downtown Copenhagen, in walking distance from the Central Train Station. Only 13 minutes by train from the Airport to the Central Station and only 28 minutes by train from the Central Station to the Regatta Course.
Additional accommodation
If you wish to stay closer to the regatta course we recommend the Hotel Postgaarden and Scandic Eremitage which are both located in Lyngby city centre, close to the train station and with easy transportation to the event site.

Dating from the late 1800's - this restored post office offers warm and uncomplicated rooms, distributed on the second and third floors of the building. All rooms feature fast free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges, as well as tea and coffeemaking equipment. Rooms are offered in an affordable price range. You can park your car in the large underground car park below our hotel and walk to the nearest bus stop or train station.
