This weekend the Czech Republic’s best canoe slalom athletes will battle it out in a bid for the chance to compete at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The two-day competition will be held at the world famous Troja channel on the outskirts of the countries capital, Prague.  

Both days follow the same schedule with heats starting at 09:45 CET followed by the finals at 13:30 CET.

The three canoe events will be first (C1m, C1W and C2M) followed by the men’s then women’s kayak (K1M and K1W) .
