13th ACC Canoe Slalom Asian Championships and Canoe Slalom Junior and U23 Asian Championships

ICF Canoe Slalom development camp for Asian region

Dates: February 24 to March 10

Location: Pattaya-Rayong, Thailand

Participation: 17 countries, 150 participants.

Summary: Another successful competition hosting 17 countries in Thailand. With the ICF development camp held before and during the competition, we saw hope and great potential for the younger generations in Canoe Slalom to grow in Asian in the near future.  There were 16 countries and 47 participants in the camp.

Asian Canoe Sprint qualifier Tokyo

19th ACC Canoe Sprint Asian Championships and Olympic qualifier

4th ACC Paracanoe Asian Championships

Dates: April 18 to 21

Location: Sea Forest Waterway, Tokyo, Japan

Participation: 18 Countries, 175 participants.

Summary: With the 2024 Paris Olympics coming up this year, the 19th ACC Canoe Sprint Asian Championships was heated with fierce competition. A total of 12 tickets were achieved by Chinese Taipei, People’s Republic of China, Iran, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. There were many spectators at the venue cheering for the hard-working athletes who has prepared long for the competition. The ACC was amazed by how the Japanese National Federation had prepared the competition and cooperated with us along the way of the preparation. During the competition, there were few meetings held by ACC discussing crucial agendas to improve our confederation with the new headquarters in South Korea. As it is important to hold competition and developing talents, we recognise that administrative works has to improve to up bring the quality of our competition and development of canoe in Asia.
