The Czech Republic and Germany each have national trials this weekend (16-17 April) to determine who will represent each of the slalom super powers at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

With multiple World and Olympic medallists vying for a single sport in each of the four Olympic disciplines (C1M, K1M, K1W and C2M) the action is bound to provide enticing viewing from the off.

09:45 CET – Start of qualification – interval 60 seconds with a 3 min interval between each class
13:30 CET – Final A – interval 90 seconds with a 2 minute interval between each class
15:00 CET – Start final B – interval 50 seconds, with a 4m minute intervals between categories

Order of classes: C1M, C1W, C2M, K1M, K1W
