It was an Olympic debut to remember for Senegal’s Yves Bourhis in Paris.

Not for the results he achieved, but for the response he received from the French crowd. Every time he took to the water he was met with a cacophony of noise that shook the temporary stands at the Vaires-sur-Marne stadium.

But in our latest episode of ‘Inside Paris’, Bourhis tells how despite his love for paddling, and his dream of an Olympic medal, he doesn’t want to turn professional. He much prefers to build his professional career away from the water.
