National Federations are reminded they have until this weekend to apply for this exciting Paracanoe talent program in the lead-up to this year's Canoe Sprint World Championships.
The ICF Paracanoe programme is sponsoring a Paracanoe Talent Identification Camp for five days (August 14-18) in Budapest prior to the World Championships in Racice.
The camp is aimed at improving the number and quality of female paracanoeists competing in international competitions. Selected athletes will be reimbursed up to 1,000 euros to cover their transportation costs to Budapest/Racice. Transportation between Budapest & Racice will be covered by the ICF.
National Federations with no or low numbers of female entries in previous international paracanoe events are invited to send in applications from female Paracanoeists. Application letters should include the following:
- Name (on passport)
- Passport number and date of expiry
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- Impairment (medical diagnosis form completed)
- Wheelchair user? (Yes of No)
- Canoeing history

Applications must be submitted by July 1st. NF’s will be notified by July 7th. Applicants are responsible to get their own visas.”
